The Save-On at the north end of Whitehorse is my favorite place to eat when I am up in (the) Yukon, at the deli counter by the big window, nose pressed against the glass and the big Canadian flag floating outside in the breeze.

I've been wanting to go back but the border has been closed for over a year what with Covid and all. So in the meantime I've been out in the backyard with my nose pressed against a maple tree.
